Anna Kane, Ex-Wife of NHL Player Evander Kane, Identifies Herself in Sexual Assault Lawsuit Against Sean “Diddy” Combs

Anna Kane, the former wife of NHL star Evander Kane, has publicly identified herself as one of the plaintiffs in a sexual assault lawsuit against music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs. Previously listed as Jane Doe, Kane revealed her identity in compliance with court requirements to proceed with her case.

Kane alleges that she was sexually assaulted by Combs and others in 2003 when she was just 17 years old. At the time, she was still in high school. According to her claims, Harve Pierre, president of Bad Boy Entertainment, approached her in Detroit, praised her appearance, and invited her to New York City on a private jet. Upon her arrival, she alleges she was taken to a recording studio, given drugs and alcohol, and subsequently assaulted.

In a statement issued through her attorney, Kane expressed her determination to continue despite the challenges of revealing her identity. “The defendants’ demand that I use my name was an attempt to intimidate me, but I am not intimidated. I am prepared to proceed and hold accountable those who have harmed me,” she said.

Sean Combs has denied all allegations made against him in this and other lawsuits.

This lawsuit adds to the legal issues piling up for the music mogul, who has faced multiple lawsuits in recent months. Notably, in November 2023, he settled a high-profile case involving his ex-girlfriend, singer Cassie.

Anna Kane married Evander Kane in 2018, and the couple shares one child. Their marriage ended in divorce in July 2021.

As the case unfolds, it highlights the complexities and challenges faced by survivors of sexual assault as they seek justice.
