Nollywood actor Akah Nnani recently opened up about his marriage to his wife, Chidera Nnani, during an appearance on Toke Makinwa's show, "Toke Moments."
During the conversation, Akah reflected on his initial judgments of Toke Makinwa, admitting he had misjudged her but later understood her widespread appeal.
Akah emphasized that the foundation of his marriage is love, not just liking each other. He noted that there are times when either he or his wife may not feel particularly fond of the other, but it is their deep love that sustains their relationship.
He explained that true love involves embracing each other's flaws and struggles unconditionally. "People marry for the wrong reasons all the time," he said. "I will say love because there are moments and certain periods when I don't like my wife; it has happened. And there are times when she doesn't like me, but it is the love that keeps us together.
"Love is complicated; you have to love somebody's demons. That is why it is love."
