Ross William Wild, formerly known as Ross Davidson and the lead singer of Spandau Ballet, stands accused of horrifying crimes involving sexual assault, voyeurism, and controlling behavior. The 36-year-old Scottish performer, allegedly raped three women and filmed himself molesting them while they slept, as detailed in a court hearing at London’s Wood Green Crown Court.
The prosecution presented disturbing allegations, claiming that Wild, also known as Davidson, had a deviant fantasy of engaging in sexual acts with women while they were asleep. He allegedly filmed himself assaulting sleeping women, who were unaware of the abuse until shown the footage later. The accusations further suggest that Wild demanded sex up to six times a night and coerced his victims into unwanted sexual encounters.
According to reports, Wild's alleged misconduct spanned over a ten-year period, from 2013 to 2023, with charges including rape, sexual assault, voyeurism, intimidation, and controlling behavior against five separate women. Despite vehemently denying all charges, Wild faces a damning portrayal in court, with the prosecution describing him as having a "darker side" beneath his outward charisma and attractiveness.
The trial continues as the prosecution presents further evidence and testimonies from the victims, shedding light on the disturbing allegations against the former Spandau Ballet singer.
