Star Nollywood actresses Liz Benson and Rita Dominic are set to appear in a film together for the first time, despite their long-standing careers in the industry.
The two actresses shared warm greetings when Benson arrived on the set of "Something About the Briggs," a film by Bukola Ogunsola that explores themes of wealth, family, and marriage.
Benson, known for her roles in 1990s Nollywood classics such as "Glamour Girls," "Diamond Ring," and "Karishika," will play a marriage counselor in the upcoming movie.
Dominic noted the peculiarity of their never having collaborated before, despite their extensive careers. She expressed delight that they will finally rectify this with "Something About the Briggs."
Benson recalled a past opportunity for them to work together that never materialized, expressing excitement about finally sharing the screen with Dominic.
"Something About the Briggs" will also feature many notable actors, including Iyabo Ojo, Norbert Young, Gloria Young, Zack Orji, and Tunbosun Aiyedehin.
Additional cast members include Daniel Etim-Effiong, Stan Nze, Kenneth Okoli, Kalu Ikeagwu, Linda Ejiofor, Ariyike Owolagba, Elma Mbadiwe, Kanaga Junior, and Simi Drey.
