Nigeria Police Force spokesperson, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has responded to a viral video showing police escorts opening a car door for a young man and carrying bundles of Naira notes as the man sprayed money at an event.
The video, which circulated widely on social media, sparked outrage among Nigerians, with many demanding disciplinary action against the officer involved.
Addressing the issue on his X handle on the afternoon of June 20, Adejobi described the officer's behavior as disgusting and embarrassing to the force. He assured that the officer would be identified and punished accordingly.
