SteffLondon Celebrates Nigerian Culture: A Tribute to Vibrancy and Tradition

British Jamaican rapper Stephanie Victoria Allen, widely known as SteffLondon, recently expressed her deep admiration for Nigeria and its rich culture during an interview with radio host Henrieveill.

Allen enthusiastically shared her fondness for various aspects of Nigerian culture, highlighting music, food, and the vibrant personalities of Nigerians. She remarked, "Oh my gosh, there are so many things: the music, the food. I love the people, the banter. They are so funny, very vibrant, and very colorful. Everything is in your face; it’s very loud. They remind me of Jamaicans but in a different way."

Continuing on the topic of culture, she expressed a poignant connection, stating, "I love your traditions. As Jamaicans, we’ve been stripped of that. We have dancehall, good food, and vibes. We’re just nice people, but the cultural aspect has been taken away from us."

SteffLondon has actively integrated Nigerian culture into her artistic endeavors, notably featuring Nigerian dances, Ankara fabric, and incorporating Pidgin and Yoruba languages in her music video for "Can’t Let You Go." Moreover, she celebrated her birthday with an Ankara-themed party in December 2022, showcasing her deep appreciation and respect for Nigerian culture.
