Former Barcelona and Spain defender Marc Bartra and his model girlfriend Jessica Goicoechea have reportedly ended their relationship. Spanish journalist Abel Planelles confirmed the breakup, describing their relationship as "broken."
According to Planelles, there are no hard feelings between the two. "From what those around me tell me, there is no bad vibes, there is no bad relationship," he said, as per AS. "In fact, on the contrary, there is a good relationship. They have not stopped following each other as they might have done other times when there was a crisis.
They follow each other, they get along well, but it is true that the relationship has ended. You never know if there might be a second chance or a third chance, but right now the relationship between the footballer and the influencer would be broken."
The couple previously split last July after an argument, leading to them unfollowing each other on social media. However, they reconciled the following month.
In May, Goicoechea appeared on the Spanish talk show La Resistencia, where she revealed details about their "sex deal." When asked about her sexual activity in the past 30 days, Bartra, who was in the audience, said, "Every day we see each other, we have to deliver," to which Goicoechea added, "If we don't do it one day, you have to do it twice the day after."
Bartra was previously married to journalist Melissa Jimenez from 2017 to 2022. The couple, who started dating in 2014, share three young children: Gala, April, and Max. Jimenez is known for her coverage of motorbike racing for Sky Italia.
Bartra and Goicoechea went public with their relationship in November 2022, a few months after his split from Jimenez. The 33-year-old footballer currently plays for Real Betis, having rejoined the club last summer following a spell with Turkish club Trabzonspor.
