Paris Saint-Germain in Advanced Talks to Sign Victor Osimhen for £84 Million

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), the reigning French champions, are intensifying negotiations with Victor Osimhen's representatives to secure the services of the Nigerian striker from Napoli in a potential £84 million deal.

According to renowned football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, PSG has made significant progress in discussions with Osimhen's camp, signaling their strong interest in bringing the prolific forward to the Parc des Princes this summer.

Osimhen, known for his goal-scoring prowess and versatility on the field, is reportedly eager to join PSG if an agreement can be reached between the clubs regarding the transfer fee.

PSG is prepared to offer £84 million (approximately €100 million) for Osimhen's services, which falls short of Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis's initial valuation of around £109 million. Despite this disparity, PSG remains optimistic that their offer will be sufficient to finalize the transfer.

The Nigerian international, who extended his contract with Napoli until 2026 in 2023, has been a pivotal figure for the Serie A side. In his 133 appearances across all competitions for Napoli, Osimhen has scored an impressive 76 goals. His contributions were instrumental in Napoli's league title triumph during the 2022-23 season, where he netted an impressive 26 goals.

The potential move to PSG represents a significant step for Osimhen, offering him an opportunity to compete at the highest level of European football with one of the continent's most illustrious clubs.

As negotiations progress, all eyes will be on PSG and Napoli to see if they can reach a mutual agreement that satisfies both parties and paves the way for Osimhen's anticipated transfer to Paris Saint-Germain.
