Famous Ghanaian musician Shatta Wale has responded to his mother, Elsie Evelyn's, accusations of neglect. In a viral video, Evelyn lamented her son's alleged neglect and sought financial help due to her deteriorating health.
Reacting on social media, Shatta Wale criticized those condemning him for not caring for his mother and expressed disappointment in her for airing family issues publicly.
"I am very disappointed in my mother for making those accusations against me publicly. She has tarnished my name to my uncles and the rest of the family. She is bringing our issues to the public for me to be criticized. We don’t handle family issues like this.
"I gave my mother four cars and rented a house in an estate for her. You do not know about these things, yet you always talk nonsense about me. She doesn’t appreciate all the good things I did for her," he stated.
