Munachimso Brian Nwana, a 22-year-old Nigerian content creator and food consultant, has achieved a new Guinness World Record (GWR) for the most fast food restaurants visited within 24 hours. Nwana, who is based in Abuja, Nigeria's capital, visited an impressive 150 restaurants, surpassing the previous record of 100 set by American YouTuber Airrack in 2023.
Nwana embarked on his record-setting journey by walking over 25 kilometers across Abuja. His route began at Chicken Republic in the Gwarinpa residential area and concluded at the Kilimanjaro fast food chain in the city center. The Guinness World Records clarified that private transportation was prohibited for this attempt, and Nwana completed the entire journey on foot due to the city’s limited public transit options.
According to the Guinness World Records, the record required that at least 75% of the orders be food. Nwana reported consuming “probably enough to last a week” and made a point to sample at least a small portion of food from most of the restaurants he visited. Any remaining food was shared with his team and members of the public.
The new record highlights Nwana's determination and endurance, setting a high bar for future attempts.
