Breaking News: Ohio Child Hospitalized After Alleged Restraint and Attack by Pit Bull; Three Arrested

In a shocking incident over the weekend, a 6-year-old boy in Ohio was hospitalized after being restrained and attacked by a pit bull. The attack occurred in Savannah, approximately 50 miles west of Akron. Authorities have arrested three individuals in connection with the case.

According to the Ashland County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a distress call on Saturday, where they found the child in critical condition, having suffered severe bites to his neck and ear. The boy was immediately airlifted to a medical facility for urgent care.

Further investigation revealed the horrifying details: the child had been handcuffed by both his hands and feet when the pit bull attacked him. Evidence supporting these claims was discovered during a search of the residence.

The boy's mother, who was living at the Savannah home with a relative of the property owner, has been arrested. Two other individuals, including the homeowner who was found hiding within the house, and the mother's boyfriend, who allegedly assisted in restraining the child, have also been taken into custody.
