Rapper Cardi B has strongly addressed rumors about skin bleaching during her pregnancy, which have been circulating on social media. The Grammy-winning artist took to her official X (formerly Twitter) account to refute the allegations with a direct and passionate response.
In a tweet, Cardi B expressed her frustration with the baseless claims, calling them absurd. "Bleaching while pregnant? Why must y'all be so dumb?" she wrote. She explained that her paler appearance is due to pregnancy-related issues rather than any cosmetic procedures.
Cardi B, who is expecting her second child, revealed that her pregnancy has caused her to become slightly anemic and low on energy. This has resulted in her looking pale with sunken eyes and noticeable veins. "This baby [is] suckin' all the energy off my body to the point I’m pale, eyes sunken, veins green ASF," she shared. She also noted that exposure to the sun makes her feel dizzy and overheated, further complicating her condition.
The rapper concluded her response with a stern message for those spreading the false rumor, advising them to "stop thinkin' with your a**hole!"
