In a move that has once again captured the attention of Lagos' nightlife scene, the Lagos State Government has ordered the closure of Quilox Restaurant Bar Night Club, owned by prominent nightlife figure and politician Shina Peller. The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) announced the shutdown via its official X handle on August 3, 2024. Dr. Babatunde Ajayi, the General Manager of LASEPA, stated, “The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) seals Quilox Club for environmental infraction, despite several warnings from the agency. We will not hesitate to take necessary actions against any establishment that fails to comply with environmental regulations.
