Nicki Minaj has achieved a significant legal victory by settling a defamation lawsuit against Marley Green, a social media personality known as "Nosey Heaux."
The settlement requires Green to publicly apologize, admit she lied about Minaj, and agree never to associate the rapper with drug use again.
The lawsuit, filed by Minaj in September 2022, originated from a video in which Green falsely claimed Minaj was "shoving all this cocaine up her nose." Legal documents obtained by TMZ reveal that the settlement obligates Green to acknowledge that her statements about Minaj using or abusing cocaine were completely false and baseless.
Additionally, the settlement prohibits Green from making any further comments about Minaj's husband, Kenneth Petty, or their son. Green is also barred from retweeting or sharing any content suggesting Minaj's involvement in illegal or unethical activities. If Green breaches the agreement, she will owe Minaj $50,000 for each violation.
This settlement represents a decisive victory for Minaj, who has strongly opposed what she described as "vile" and baseless allegations.
