Rapper Lil Baby Arrested in Las Vegas for Alleged Concealed Weapon Violation

American rapper Lil Baby, whose real name is Dominique Armani Jones, was arrested in Las Vegas for allegedly carrying a concealed weapon without a permit. The arrest took place on Monday, August 26, and Lil Baby was subsequently booked into the Clark County Detention Center with bail set at $5,000.

Lil Baby’s legal team, attorneys Drew Findling and David Chesnoff, provided an update on Tuesday, August 27, stating that the rapper holds a valid Georgia Carrying a Concealed Weapon (CCW) permit. "To be clear, Dominique Jones has a valid Georgia Carrying a Concealed Weapon (CCW) Permit. On his behalf, we are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding his arrest in Las Vegas," they said in a statement to TMZ.

As of now, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has not released any further details about the alleged offense or the circumstances leading to the arrest.

This is not the first time Lil Baby has faced legal issues. In 2021, he was arrested in Paris for reckless driving and minor marijuana possession. His current arrest adds to his legal troubles, although his attorneys are working to clarify the situation.
