Media personality Solomon Buchi has called for the arrest of Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, founder of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministries (CMDM), accusing him of misleading Christians and misrepresenting himself as a man of God.
In a post on his official X account on Wednesday, Buchi challenged Prophet Jeremiah’s legitimacy, declaring, “Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin is not a Christian, let alone a prophet. He isn’t a man of God. He is a sorcerer working with a familiar spirit. He should be called out, rebuked, and arrested.”
Buchi criticized Fufeyin for allegedly tarnishing the image of Christianity and the church. He drew a comparison with biblical figures, stating, “Peter rebuked Simon, who was an amazing magician that swayed many people. Peter told him that his heart was not right before God. Jeremiah’s heart is not right before God.”
The media personality also condemned Fufeyin for promoting miracle products such as soap and perfume, which he claims are sold under the guise of spiritual remedies. “Bragging about being a billionaire, threatening people, selling miracle soap and David’s stone for business, marriage, and ministry is just a fine rebrand of a local spiritualist. That man has no place in the church. God will judge him speedily,” Buchi asserted.
This controversy follows Fufeyin’s recent launch of miracle products, including water, soap, and perfume, which he claims have divine benefits.
