Adunni Ade Praises Ramsey Nouah, Credits Him for Inspiring Her Move to Nigeria

Nollywood actress Adunni Ade recently expressed her admiration for veteran actor Ramsey Nouah, revealing that he played a pivotal role in her decision to relocate to Nigeria and pursue a career in Nollywood.

During an appearance on Hip TV's Trending, hosted by KimOprah, Ade shared that her encounter with Nouah motivated her to leave her modeling career in the U.S. and return to Nigeria.

"He [Ramsey Nouah] was the one who gave me confirmation to move to Nigeria," Ade said. "I met him before I came, and after discussing my goals and aspirations, he gave me a really good pep talk, which convinced me to make the move."

She also mentioned how, despite admiring him for years, it took until a film festival for her to cross paths with Nouah again. Shortly after their meeting, she received an unexpected call from a producer informing her that Nouah had cast her in a project.

"I was so happy to work with him on set," she added. "I’ve seen him as a human being, a director, and a co-actor. He is just a phenomenal person."

Adunni Ade made her move to Nigeria in 2011 and began her Nollywood journey in 2013, starring in the Yoruba-language film You or I. Since then, she has featured in over 250 movies in both English and Yoruba.
