Hollywood actor Ben Affleck and his estranged wife, singer and actress Jennifer Lopez, were seen together for the first time since their divorce filing. The encounter took place at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Saturday, September 14.
In the photos, the 53-year-old Affleck was seen leaning in close to Lopez, 55, and gesturing with his arms during their conversation. Later, as they sat in their car, Lopez appeared to be wiping away tears. The meeting occurred in front of Affleck’s children from his previous marriage to Jennifer Garner—Finn, 15, and Samuel, 12—as well as Lopez’s 16-year-old twins, Emme and Max, from her marriage to Marc Anthony.
Lopez was spotted wearing her engagement ring from Affleck on her pinky finger, along with a gold 'Jennifer' band on her wedding finger. This sighting follows recent news of Affleck being seen kissing Matt Damon's wife, Luciana, and Damon holding Lopez's hand.
Jennifer and Ben legally separated on April 26, and Lopez filed for divorce in LA County Superior Court on August 20, citing "irreconcilable differences." Following the filing, there was speculation about Affleck dating RFK Jr.'s daughter, Kick Kennedy, after they were seen together on various outings in Los Angeles.
Affleck and Lopez originally met in 2001 on the set of the film Gigli. They were engaged but split just three days before their wedding in 2004. Both moved on to marry others, with Lopez marrying Marc Anthony in 2004 and Affleck marrying Jennifer Garner in 2005.
