Popular Nigerian cross-dresser, Bobrisky, recently took to Instagram to flaunt his connection to a powerful godfather who ensures his protection. In a video he posted, Bobrisky can be seen walking outside as men in suits shield him from the rain with umbrellas and open the car door for him. He captioned the post: "When you have a godfather somewhere that says you all must protect my Queen."
However, shortly after posting the video, Bobrisky deleted it.
This comes amid ongoing speculation about Bobrisky's influential connections. Earlier in March 2024, social commentator Solomon Buchi raised questions on X (formerly Twitter) about Bobrisky's supposed ties to powerful figures in Nigeria. Buchi hinted that Bobrisky's bold public actions suggest he has protection from high-ranking individuals in the police, judiciary, or political circles. He asked, "Who is Bobrisky’s political godfather in Nigeria? Why is the Nigerian government a puppet to Bobrisky?"
Buchi also suggested that if Bobrisky were not wealthy or influential, he might have faced prosecution long ago.
These speculations were followed by Bobrisky's brief stint in jail, where he was sentenced to six months but was released after serving only four months. Despite the controversies, Bobrisky continues to command attention on social media, with many questioning the extent of his powerful connections.
