Diddy’s Lawyer Explains Large Stock of Baby Oil After Federal Raid

Sean "Diddy" Combs' lawyer, Marc Agnifilio, has responded to claims that federal agents confiscated a large number of baby oil bottles from the rapper's homes in Miami and Los Angeles during a raid related to an ongoing investigation into sex trafficking allegations. According to Agnifilio, Combs buys in bulk, like many Americans, and the quantity should not be viewed suspiciously.

Speaking to The New York Post, Agnifilio addressed the agents' claims of finding "1,000 bottles" of baby oil and lubricant, clarifying that while it was a large amount, it was likely exaggerated. "There’s a Costco nearby. Americans buy in bulk, as we know," he remarked.

The raid is part of a broader investigation into Combs' alleged involvement in sex trafficking and other crimes, including accusations that he organized "Freak Offs"—elaborate sexual events reportedly directed by the rapper. Combs, who is currently in custody at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center, has pleaded not guilty to charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transporting individuals for prostitution.

Agnifilio stated that despite the serious charges, Combs remains focused and optimistic about his defense, describing his client as "engaged" and in "relatively good spirits."

The investigation into Combs began after a lawsuit filed by his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, accused him of abuse. Though that lawsuit was settled swiftly, additional allegations have since emerged. Authorities have seized various items from Combs' properties, including firearms, ammunition, and videos, alongside the bottles of baby oil.

If convicted, Combs faces a minimum of 15 years in prison, with the possibility of a life sentence.
