A new art installation featuring a 43-foot-tall, naked puppet of Donald Trump has been revealed in Las Vegas. The striking figure, made of foam and supported by rebar, weighs around 6,000 pounds and is part of the “Crooked and Obscene Tour.”
According to the organizers, the choice to depict Trump in the nude is a deliberate statement about transparency, vulnerability, and the public images of political figures. They aim to encourage discussions about the transparency—or lack thereof—in politics and challenge viewers to think critically about political influence.
For those unable to visit Las Vegas, the giant puppet will be traveling to various locations across the United States as part of the tour.
This isn't the first time a nude statue of Trump has been displayed publicly. In 2016, artist Joshua “Ginger” Monroe created five life-size nude figures of the former president for a project called “The Emperor Has No Balls.” Those statues appeared in cities like Seattle, New York City, and San Francisco but were quickly removed by authorities.
The latest puppet installation promises to attract attention and provoke conversation as it travels across the country.
