Controversial Nigerian artist Speed Darlington has raised eyebrows over Burna Boy's relationship with American rapper and businessman P. Diddy, questioning if there’s more behind Burna Boy's Grammy win. In a video posted on social media, Speed Darlington claimed that Burna Boy's Grammy success came soon after taking a photo with P. Diddy.
"Everyone was snapping pictures with Diddy that year. Not long after Burna posted his picture, the next year, or even the same year, Burna won the Grammy," Darlington remarked.
He went further to ask Burna Boy to explain how his career skyrocketed following the interaction with the music mogul. In a provocative statement, while holding a bottle of baby oil, Speed Darlington said, "Burna Boy, don’t take this the wrong way, but I’m just curious. How much oil did Diddy put on you before they gave you that trophy? I heard there were 1,000 bottles of baby oil in Diddy’s house, and I know you won that Grammy after your picture with him."
The comments have sparked reactions online, with fans divided over Darlington's insinuations about Burna Boy's rise to international fame. Neither Burna Boy nor P. Diddy has responded to the claims.
