APP Wins 22 Chairmanship Seats in Rivers State Local Government Elections

The Action Peoples Party (APP) has emerged victorious in 22 out of the 23 local government chairmanship positions in the recently concluded elections in Rivers State.

Retired Justice Adolphus Enebeli, who serves as the Chief Election Officer for the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC), made the announcement on Saturday in Port Harcourt, according to a report from Channels Television.

However, the chairmanship result for Etche Local Government Area has not yet been finalized, as collation of the votes in that region is still underway.
