However, Celtic responded quickly, with Daizen Maeda capitalizing on a lapse in concentration from Can to equalize shortly after.
Dortmund regained the lead through Adeyemi, whose shot deflected into the net. He then doubled his tally with a powerful strike from the edge of the box, showcasing his skill and composure. The home side continued to dominate, and Celtic's misfortunes grew when they conceded another penalty, allowing Serhou Guirassy to score and extend Dortmund's advantage.
