Two additional Iranian Air Defense Officers have reportedly died following a recent series of Israeli airstrikes, raising the number of Iranian casualties to four. The officers, identified as Hamze Jahandideh and Mohammad Mehdi Shahrokhifar, were killed when Israeli forces targeted Iran’s HAWK air defense system in Mahshahr.
Iranian media confirmed the deaths, stating, "Two more Air Defense Officers of the Iranian army are reported dead from last night’s Israeli strike, bringing the total of dead Iranian servicemen to four."
The strikes, which began on Saturday, were described by the Israeli military as “targeted attacks” against key military installations in Iran. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have since confirmed that their aircraft returned safely after the operation, which some experts warn could further heighten tensions in the Middle East and bring the region closer to conflict.
The latest airstrikes have intensified concerns internationally, as many fear the ongoing escalations could spark wider unrest across the region.
