The Actors' Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has announced the indefinite suspension of actress Halima Abubakar following a detailed investigation into her conduct.
In an official statement, the AGN stated that their investigation uncovered that Abubakar was responsible for spreading defamatory information about members, associates, and patrons of the Guild online. The Guild also accused her of being behind several rumors linking prominent individuals to extramarital affairs.
As a result of these findings, Halima Abubakar has been suspended from participating in any film productions or industry-related activities during the suspension period. The AGN added that she will face a disciplinary panel to determine further actions regarding her case.
