New revelations have emerged regarding American actor and comedian Jamie Foxx's recent statements hinting at controversial events related to his 2023 hospitalization. The actor, who is currently filming his Netflix special What Had Happened Was, reportedly referenced hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs during show tapings, hinting at a link between Diddy and Foxx’s medical incident.
According to three attendees of Foxx’s comedy show tapings, two claimed Foxx pointed to Diddy as being involved in the events that led to his hospitalization. One attendee, known as Big Homie .CC, a celebrity security guard, even alleged in a recent interview that Diddy may have “poisoned” Foxx. He claimed Foxx reported Diddy to the FBI following the incident, leading to Diddy’s current legal troubles on sex trafficking charges.
Videographer Choke No Joke, who attended two of Foxx's tapings in early October at Atlanta’s Alliance Theatre, supported these claims, saying that Foxx directly referenced Diddy’s involvement during the performance. When asked whether Foxx’s statements were meant as humor, Choke stated, “I don’t think he was joking.” He further noted that Foxx’s timing—reappearing in public after Diddy’s arrest—seemed to align with a theme in Foxx’s show.
However, Dennis L.A. White, another attendee, recalled a different narrative. He reported Foxx addressing rumors by denying Diddy’s involvement, saying, “If he was [responsible], I would’ve been dead.” White noted that Foxx spent a portion of the show discussing Combs, yet he did not recall any mention of law enforcement.
Foxx has shared his gratitude to Atlanta following his comeback performances, describing the experience as a “second chance” and expressing his joy at being back on stage after an 18-year absence.
