Canadian singer Justin Bieber has made his first Instagram post since the recent arrest of his former mentor, Sean "Diddy" Combs. The pop star, 30, shared a collection of photos featuring himself alongside various bird-themed images. This update comes nearly two weeks after his last post on September 3, prior to Diddy’s arrest by federal authorities related to serious allegations of sex trafficking.
Diddy, a prominent figure in the music industry, faces multiple lawsuits alleging severe misconduct, including raping women, sexually assaulting men, and molesting a 16-year-old boy. This marks the first instance in which he has been sued by someone claiming to have been abused as a minor. A total of at least six lawsuits have been filed against Combs in federal court in Manhattan, contributing to a growing number of legal challenges he is facing. All lawsuits have been filed anonymously to protect the accusers' identities, with two cases brought by women identified as Jane Does and four by men labeled as John Does.
Combs has pleaded not guilty in a related criminal case that accuses him of coercing and abusing women for years, allegedly aided by a network of associates. The accusations include claims of blackmail, violence, kidnapping, and arson to silence his victims. He has been denied bail twice and currently remains in custody at a federal jail in Brooklyn while awaiting a trial scheduled for May. Two judges have determined that he poses a danger to the community if released.
On Friday, an appeals court judge rejected Diddy's request for immediate release as a three-judge panel of the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals reviews his bail application.
