Manchester United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has stated that he will not be the one to decide the future of manager Erik ten Hag, despite the club's current struggles. Ten Hag is facing increasing pressure after a poor run of form, with the team failing to win their last four matches.
Ahead of a critical match against Aston Villa on Sunday, Ratcliffe, who is expected to attend the game at Villa Park, was asked by the BBC if he still had confidence in Ten Hag. He responded, "I don’t want to answer that question. I like Erik. I think he’s a very good coach, but ultimately, it’s not my decision. The management team at Manchester United will determine how we move forward in all aspects of running the team."
The Red Devils' leadership will have to make any decisions regarding Ten Hag's future, as Ratcliffe emphasizes that he will not be directly involved in such matters.
