Renowned rapper Nicki Minaj has dismissed rumors circulating on social media that she plans to take a sabbatical from music. The speculation began when the X handle @NMCaviar tweeted, "Nicki Minaj announces she’s going on a hiatus."
In response, Minaj took to social media to clarify her position, stating, "Ain’t going no mthfkn where. Kiss my a** and hiatus." Her emphatic message made it clear that she has no intention of stepping away from her music career.
This clarification comes after Minaj previously took a break from music. In December 2019, she announced her intention to "retire" to focus on starting a family shortly after marrying Kenneth Petty. The couple welcomed their son on September 30, 2020. Since then, Minaj has returned to the music scene and resumed touring.
