Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, widely known as Bobrisky, was taken to the Police Hospital in Falomo, Lagos, after experiencing severe pain in his chest.
Reports indicate that Bobrisky began feeling discomfort after spending several hours in police custody at Alagbon, Lagos State. According to police sources, he was transported to the hospital around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22.
It is believed that the use of a police ambulance for the transfer was a precautionary measure to avoid drawing public attention, coinciding with a visit from the Commissioner of Police for the Special Fraud Unit (SFU), who was preparing to transfer Bobrisky to his command.
Witnesses reported that Bobrisky repeatedly expressed concern about intense pain in his chest, leading officers to prioritize his medical care before proceeding with the transfer. During his detention, he was kept in isolation under the close supervision of two armed officers.
This health scare followed Bobrisky's arrest by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) on Monday night. Further updates on his condition are awaited as he receives medical attention.
