Chicago-born rapper Polo G has been in custody since Saturday following his arrest for felony possession of a concealed weapon in the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles. Police apprehended him during a traffic stop for speeding, where they reportedly found a loaded firearm in his vehicle.
According to law enforcement sources, officers from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) discovered the loaded gun after conducting a search of Polo G's car, resulting in his immediate arrest.
This incident occurs at a crucial time for the rapper, who recently released his highly anticipated fourth album, Hood Poet, in August. His year has already been overshadowed by legal troubles, including a weapons charge in New York City in April and a similar arrest in Burbank last year.
Polo G remains in custody, raising concerns about the upcoming Hood Poet Tour, which is scheduled to start in just three days. The uncertainty surrounding his release has left fans and promoters anxious about the status of his performances.
