Primate Ayodele Warns of Imminent Plot Against Senate President Akpabio Over Missteps

 

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a stern warning of a looming plot against Senate President Godswill Akpabio, citing concerns over his leadership and public statements.

In a video shared on his social media platforms, Primate Ayodele predicted that Akpabio’s inability to carefully manage his remarks could trigger widespread discontent within the Senate. According to the cleric, this dissatisfaction may lead to an organized effort to remove Akpabio from his position.

“Akpabio needs to exercise caution, as a gang-up against him is imminent if he continues to mishandle his statements,” Ayodele cautioned. He emphasized that Akpabio's actions could bring disrespect to the current Senate, which could alienate members who are the voice of the people.

Ayodele further explained that divisions within the Senate are likely to emerge, blaming Akpabio’s perceived incompetence for the internal discord. “There will be segregation in the Senate, and it will stem from Akpabio’s failure to lead effectively,” he warned.

The prophet also suggested that Akpabio’s leadership could incite further issues that might lead to his eventual removal. Despite Akpabio’s position as Senate President, Ayodele described him as a "government mouthpiece," predicting that the Senate under his watch would struggle to enact meaningful changes. “Just wait for a rowdy session; this Senate won’t be able to achieve anything,” he concluded.
