Resurfaced Photos Show Sean 'Diddy' Combs in Heated Argument with Jennifer Lopez on Night of New Alleged Assault Incident

Newly uncovered photos reveal a tense confrontation between music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs and then-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez at a New York afterparty for the 2000 MTV VMAs, coinciding with the date of new sexual assault allegations against Combs involving a 13-year-old girl.

Combs, who dated Lopez from 1999 to 2001, was seen at the now-closed Lotus nightclub on September 7, 2000. That same night, according to a recent lawsuit, he allegedly assaulted a young girl in the presence of two unidentified celebrities. Witnesses recalled seeing Combs in a heated exchange with Lopez, who reportedly shouted at him before walking away. Sources claim the music mogul, holding a Cristal champagne bottle, left the party shortly afterward with his entourage and a group of girls.

The evening had begun positively for the couple, who attended the award ceremony at Radio City Music Hall alongside Lopez's sister, Lynda, and manager Benny Medina. Lopez had won Best Dance Video for her hit "Waiting for Tonight," and they headed to the nightclub in celebration. However, tensions escalated between the couple during the night, leading to the dramatic argument.

The resurfaced images come as Combs faces serious legal allegations. In a new lawsuit filed in New York federal court, a plaintiff, then 13 years old, alleges that Combs approached her "aggressively" before assaulting her, with an unnamed male celebrity also participating while other individuals, including a female celebrity, observed. Combs has denied the claims, with his attorneys describing these latest accusations as “clear attempts to garner publicity.”

Attorney Tony Buzbee, representing the plaintiff, has reportedly filed 12 lawsuits over the past week against Combs, on behalf of other alleged victims, both male and female. Currently, Combs is being held in federal prison in Brooklyn pending trial on separate sex trafficking charges. Jennifer Lopez is not implicated in the lawsuit or any related claims.
