Two Women Questioned in Liam Payne's Tragic Death Case

Authorities in Buenos Aires have questioned two women who were with former One Direction star, Liam Payne, just hours before his fatal fall from a hotel balcony. According to Mirror UK, the women, whose identities have been partially revealed on national television, were key figures in the investigation.

Prosecutors confirmed that five people, including the two women and three hotel employees, have been questioned as part of a "reconstruction of Payne’s final hours." The women reportedly left the hotel before Payne's fall, and although they are being considered key witnesses, they have not been named as suspects. The investigation is described as "dudoso," which means "doubtful" in Spanish, raising questions about the circumstances surrounding the singer's death.

In their official statement, prosecutors revealed that Payne had sustained 25 separate injuries, and drugs were found in his hotel room. The National Prosecutor's Office also reported that Payne, 31, had fallen from the third floor of the Hotel CasaSur Palermo. The autopsy, conducted by forensic experts, confirmed that his death was caused by multiple injuries and severe internal and external hemorrhaging.

The autopsy results highlighted that Payne's injuries were consistent with a fall from a significant height. Head injuries were noted to be particularly severe, contributing to his death, along with bleeding in the chest, abdomen, and limbs. Forensic experts also found no defensive wounds, suggesting no evidence of a struggle or the involvement of third parties. Based on the nature of Payne’s injuries, it is believed he may have been unconscious or in a semi-conscious state during the fall.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the presence of narcotics and alcohol in Payne's room, as well as the destruction of furniture that was found at the scene. The prosecutor's office has not ruled out the possibility of third-party involvement and is conducting a thorough inquiry into the events leading up to Payne's tragic death.
