Super Eagles star striker Victor Osimhen has seen a decrease in his market value following his move to Turkish champions Galatasaray, according to a recent report.
The 25-year-old striker joined Galatasaray on a season-long loan from Napoli this summer. Prior to the move, Osimhen was valued at €130 million. However, clauses in his loan agreement have led to a reduction in his valuation, bringing it down to €75 million. Despite the decrease, Osimhen remains the most valuable player in the Turkish Super Lig, according to Transfermarkt.
Behind Osimhen in market value are former Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri and Moroccan World Cup star Sofiyan Amrabat, both valued at €22 million.
Osimhen's lowered valuation follows Chelsea's unsuccessful attempts to secure his signature during the summer transfer window. Despite this, he remains a top-tier player in Turkish football and continues to attract attention for his performances.
