In a surprising statement that has raised eyebrows across the nation, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, DSP Jibrin, expressed skepticism over the recent election results in Akwa Ibom State, where Senate President Godswill Akpabio was declared the winner in his local government area (LG). Jibrin noted the unusual nature of the victory, as the outcomes in the region are typically uniform, often resulting in a perfect score of 100/100.

Jibrin, who has been vocal about electoral integrity, implied that the results might have been predetermined, stating, “The results will be written a week before the election.” This assertion has prompted discussions about the credibility of the electoral process in Nigeria, with many questioning the transparency and fairness of the election.
