Nigerian comic singer Darlington Achakpo, widely known as Speed Darlington, has been released on bail following his recent arrest. He was taken into custody at his Lagos home and subsequently transported to Abuja, where he was held for several days.
His arrest stemmed from a video in which he suggested that Burna Boy had a connection with American music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs. This speculation arose after Combs was arrested on allegations of sex trafficking, during which over 1,000 baby oils were reportedly discovered in his apartment.
In response to Speed Darlington's remarks, Burna Boy filed a cyberbullying petition against him, leading to the arrest.
Today, October 8, Speed Darlington’s lawyer, Stan Alieke, confirmed his client's release and shared a video showing Darlington after his bail was granted.
