Elon Musk Slams Media Over Epstein Island Allegations, Calls Reports “Utterly Misleading”

Elon Musk is firing back after newly released documents from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate sparked speculation about his alleged ties to the disgraced financier.

Following headlines suggesting he visited Epstein’s private island in 2014, Musk dismissed the reports as false, tweeting: “Anyone pushing this false narrative deserves complete contempt. Shame on Sky News for this utterly misleading headline.”

Musk insisted he refused Epstein’s invitation and noted he was unfairly named before others, including Prince Andrew, who has admitted to visiting. Hours earlier, he had posted a blunt three-word denial: “This is false.”

The billionaire also accused Democrats and “their media allies” of deliberately targeting him, writing that they see him as a threat because he “exposes corruption” and promotes “free speech through X.”

The controversy comes after six pages of Epstein-related documents were released by the House Oversight Committee. The records include itineraries, financial ledgers, and flight logs spanning nearly three decades, naming several high-profile figures such as Peter Thiel and Steve Bannon in Epstein’s orbit.

Democrats on the committee argue the disclosures highlight Epstein’s reach among powerful circles, while Republicans blasted the release as politically motivated, claiming it cherry-picked details and withheld files referencing Democratic officials.

More heavily redacted documents are expected to be made public as the review process continues.
