Instagram influencer and philanthropist King Mitchy has gone public with serious allegations against her former junior secondary school teacher, whom she identified as Uncle Raymond.
In a recorded phone call shared online, the teacher acknowledged that her claims had already spread widely and were being discussed at his workplace.
King Mitchy explained that she was speaking out now because, as a child, she didn’t fully understand the gravity of what was happening. She alleged that the teacher would often ask her and three classmates to remain in an empty classroom after school, where he crossed boundaries that left them feeling confused and afraid.
“This went on for a very long time,” she wrote, adding that the pressure and fear eventually pushed her to beg her parents to transfer her to a different school.
In her post, Mitchy expressed anger at her teacher’s current concern for his reputation, asking: “Do you think that was a comfortable thing for us to do? Our parents sent us to learn. Did you think we would be children forever?”
The revelations have sparked an emotional response online. Many praised King Mitchy for her courage in speaking up, while others demanded accountability and stronger protections for children in schools.
