Federal Lawmaker Paul Gowon Haruna Criticized for Building Traditional Well in Constituency

 Paul Gowon Haruna, the representative for the Bassa/Dekina Federal constituency in the 10th National Assembly, has constructed a traditional well for his constituents.

Haruna, who belongs to the ruling All Progressives Congress and is a former member of the Kogi State House of Assembly, initiated this well as part of his constituency project.

However, some constituents have criticized the initiative.

One constituent remarked to SaharaReporters, "This is a project from a House of Representatives member for Dekina/Bassa Federal constituency—what a shame, not even a mechanized hand pump."

Another resident commented, “It’s clear these politicians don’t value us. A federal lawmaker building a well and celebrating it as an achievement is disappointing.”
