American actress and media personality, Amanda Seales, has raised skepticism regarding the alleged assassination attempt on former US President and Republican Party candidate Donald Trump, suggesting it was “staged.”
At a rally in Pennsylvania, two individuals lost their lives in gunfire aimed at Trump, who was swiftly escorted off stage by security personnel, as reported by the Associated Press.
While security agencies have confirmed the incident, Seales publicly expressed doubts about its authenticity in a video message shared on social media. She asserted that the event appeared “staged,” noting that the sound of gunshots did not resemble the typical noise heard in such situations.
“Having lived in Harlem long enough, I know gunshots don’t sound like making popcorn on the stove,” Seales remarked critically. She questioned the source of the bullet and drew parallels to theatrical productions where fake blood packets are used to simulate injuries.
Seales further commented on Trump’s reaction, stating, “In a real attempt on his life, Trump wouldn’t have simply raised his hand in the air.”
Her remarks have sparked debate and controversy online, amid ongoing investigations by federal authorities into the incident involving Trump.
