In a thrilling Euro 2024 final held in Germany, Spain emerged victorious over England with a 2-1 win on Sunday, claiming the championship title.

After a cautious first half, Spain made a breakthrough early in the second half. In the 47th minute, Lamine Yamal set up Nico Williams inside the penalty area, who then skillfully placed the ball into the bottom right corner, past England's goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, giving Spain a 1-0 lead. Just two minutes later, Dani Olmo had an ambitious attempt from a promising position but his shot went wide of the right post.

Spain continued to press forward, and in the 54th minute, Nico Williams received a pass, held off a defender, and unleashed a mid-range shot that narrowly missed the left post. England found an equalizer in the 73rd minute through Cole Palmer. Jude Bellingham provided a clever pass to Palmer, who then curled a stunning shot into the bottom left corner, making it 1-1.

However, Spain regained the lead in the 86th minute. Marc Cucurella assisted Mikel Oyarzabal, who calmly slotted the ball home from close range, securing a 2-1 victory for Spain and sealing their Euro 2024 championship win.
