Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has opened up about her journey as a single mother, sharing the challenges and triumphs she has experienced. The actress took to social media to celebrate her son Festus Ojo's graduation from Altinbas University in Istanbul, Turkey, reflecting on her struggles and successes as a single parent.
In an Instagram post, Ojo expressed her gratitude and acknowledged the difficulties she faced while raising her children alone. “As a single mother, it hasn’t been easy, but I give God all the glory for our success. From Riverside City College in California to Altinbas University in Istanbul, Turkey, it can only be God,” she wrote.
Ojo’s heartfelt message extended beyond her own experience, offering encouragement to other single parents facing similar obstacles. “To every single parent out there who’s been told they can’t make it, we are the true heroes and champions! We’ve proven them wrong, and I’m proud to be among them,” she stated. “We’re the true president general among the nation.”
The actress also shared her future plans with her fans, stating, “Yes! I’ve fulfilled my duty as a great mother, and now it’s time to plan weddings and spoil my future grandchildren silly. To all my fans and loved ones, I say thank you, thank you, thank you.”
In a related development, Ojo previously revealed her decision to remain single, clarifying that she and her partner, music executive Paulo Okoye, are not planning to formalize their relationship.
