The Metropolitan Police have identified the three children who tragically lost their lives in a fire in East Ham, London. The victims are Nakash Malik, 13; Aayat Malik, 11; and Muhammad Hanan Malik, 7.
Their parents, Khurram Malik and Naumana Gul Khan, have described their children as a profound blessing and cherish their memory deeply. In a heartfelt statement, the parents said, “Your lives were a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. May you rest in peace in God’s heaven.”
The Metropolitan Police, in collaboration with the London Fire Brigade, are continuing to investigate the cause of the fire. At this point, authorities have found no evidence suggesting any suspicious circumstances.
Detective Chief Inspector Jonathan Burks expressed the impact of the tragedy, noting, “The deaths of these children have caused significant upset in what was already a devastating incident for the local community and beyond.” He added, “Our thoughts are with everyone who has been affected.”
The fire, which has deeply shaken the community, remains under investigation as officials work to determine the cause and provide support to those impacted by the loss.
