Popular comedian Ayodeji Richard Makun, better known as AY, has voiced his frustration over the increasing difficulties of living in Nigeria, noting that the situation seems to worsen by the minute.
In a post shared on his X account on Thursday, AY lamented, "Being a Nigerian just gets tougher and tougher by the minute."
Similarly, reality TV star Josephine Ijeoma Otabor, widely recognized as Phyna, has expressed her displeasure over the recent hike in fees for processing and obtaining Nigerian passports. She criticized the increase, arguing that the Nigerian passport is barely respected in many countries.
On her X account, Phyna remarked, "Raising the price of our passport, which already carries little respect in some countries, makes no sense... This country has hit rock bottom... It feels like nothing positive is happening anymore."
