Former Anambra Deputy Speaker Harford Oseke Dies After Collapsing Post-Exercise


Harford Oseke, the former Deputy Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, has tragically passed away after collapsing during his regular exercise routine. The incident occurred at the Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka, the state capital.

Reports indicate that Oseke had just completed his workout when he suddenly fell ill. Despite immediate efforts to revive him, he was pronounced dead shortly after the collapse. His body has been taken to the Apex Medical Centre in Awka for examination.

Oseke, born in August 1960, was a well-respected figure from Umuawulu in Awka South Local Government Area. He was a distinguished academic, holding degrees in law and a recent Ph.D. in Public Administration. In addition to his scholarly achievements, he was a notable presence in the freight forwarding industry in Port Harcourt and played a significant role in the importation of fishing feeds into Nigeria.

He is survived by his wife and children. The community mourns his loss and extends condolences to his family. May his soul rest in peace.
