VIDEO: Former Radio Presenter Parvin Sigei Denies Setting Wife's House on Fire Amid Marital Disputes

Parvin Sigei, a former radio presenter from Nairobi, has gone viral after expressing frustration in a video, following accusations of setting his wife’s house on fire due to marital conflicts.

Reports suggest that Sigei allegedly torched his wife's home out of jealousy over her success. However, in the emotional video, Sigei detailed his struggles within the marriage, stating that despite his financial support, his wife had not shown any appreciation.

“I have endured for over a year. I helped her secure her job at NHIF,” Sigei revealed. He claimed to have financially supported his wife, including buying her a car and the house that was destroyed, which he insists caught fire due to an electrical fault.

"Even if I leave KSh 200,000 in the house in the morning, she still asks for fuel money in the evening. I have suffered for so long," Sigei lamented.

Sigei strongly denied deliberately setting the house on fire, calling the incident a coincidence. He claimed to have left the house intact and even has witnesses to back his statement. The video has sparked mixed reactions online, with some sympathizing with his frustrations, while others condemned the alleged act of arson.
