A$AP Rocky Set to Acquire EFL Club Tranmere Rovers

American rapper A$AP Rocky is reportedly preparing to buy EFL Club Tranmere Rovers. The 36-year-old artist, who is in a relationship with pop superstar Rihanna, is part of an investment group led by celebrity lawyer Joe Tacopina.

Tacopina, known for previously representing Donald Trump, has been in negotiations with the League Two club for over six months to acquire an 80% stake valued at £15 million. The proposed takeover is currently awaiting regulatory approval from the EFL.

Once the deal is finalized, A$AP Rocky is expected to attend games at Prenton Park. A source revealed to The Sun's Bizarre column, "Rocky is close with Joe and has committed to the Tranmere bid. Joe has attended Tranmere matches, and Rocky plans to join him after the deal is complete."

The source also hinted at the possibility of Rihanna being seen at League Two matches, stating, "We may even see Rihanna watching League Two football."

Tacopina believes Tranmere Rovers, located near Liverpool, is undervalued and sees potential for transformation through savvy marketing and celebrity endorsements. With A$AP Rocky's involvement, there are expectations for an exciting future for the club.

A$AP Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, shares two children with Rihanna—RZA, who is two years old, and 15-month-old Riot Rose.
