Eric Trump Claims Prince Harry’s U.S. Visa is Safe, Dismisses Concerns Over Duke and Duchess of Sussex

Eric Trump recently commented that Prince Harry’s U.S. visa status is secure, claiming “no one cares” about the Duke of Sussex or his “unpopular” wife, Meghan Markle. Speaking with the Daily Mail, the 40-year-old son of former President Donald Trump discussed his family’s regard for the British monarchy, particularly the late Queen, while criticizing Prince Harry’s move away from royal duties.

According to Eric Trump, his father “loved the Queen,” describing her as “amazing” and reflecting on her warm reception of the former president. He expressed disappointment in Harry's decision to step back from royal duties and relocate to California in 2020 with Meghan and their son Archie, calling it a “detriment” to the royal family. Eric suggested that Harry, who he described as “led by a wife that is pretty unpopular,” has “gone off the deep end.”

Despite recent scrutiny over Harry’s U.S. visa following drug use admissions in his memoir, Spare, Eric dismissed any concerns about potential deportation if Donald Trump returns to office. “Truthfully, I don’t give a damn about Prince Harry,” he said, adding that neither he nor the country seemed invested in the matter. Eric asserted that his family’s respect for the monarchy was unaffected by Harry’s revelations of drug use, claiming, “I don’t give a damn if he did drugs. It means nothing.”

These comments come amid ongoing legal efforts by the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think-tank, to make Harry’s visa records public. After the Duke disclosed recreational drug use involving cocaine, marijuana, and psychedelic mushrooms in his memoir, the group questioned why he was granted a U.S. visa. Heritage Foundation has taken legal action against the Department of Homeland Security, urging the release of Harry’s visa application details to clarify his statements regarding drug use.
